What is fleas are insects which propagate like flies by laying eggs which go through the larval and cocoon stages.They live and multiply in dust and are therefore found in the cracks of floors, in rugs and carpets and mice holes.

They are most often carried by cats and dogs who bring them to the house and domesticate them with human beings.Fleas are dangerous disease carriers.

They are purveyors of the Bacillus pestis causing plague, they carry the eggs of tapeworms and the germs of many other diseases.

Keep dogs and fleas out of your home.Keep dust away and spray cracks in the floors and carpets with spirits of camphor.DDT will destroy fleas and other insects.
Flea bites should be washed with soap and water followed by sponging with rubbing alcohol or spirits of camphor.
